By now, you’re familiar with the FAA’s latest revision of FAA AC 60-28 (FAA AC 60-28B) detailing the long standing ICAO English Proficiency requirements. FAA AC 60-28B goes into further detail about the requirements of Aviation personnel as well as the manner in which the standards must be maintained.
We know that students must meet ICAO 4 English Proficiency requirements. However, how will we ensure that our flight students meet the goal prior to earning the license? Does our staff know what to look for when dealing with English Proficiency requirements?
For these reasons, we’d like to re-introduce ourselves to you so that you are aware of a number of ways in which Expedite Aviation English can support you. Our company has grown over the years and we’ve added a multitude of services.
What you need to know is that throughout our company’s history, we’ve successfully helped all willing students to meet the appropriate English proficiency goals. (This equates to over 90% of our students!)
Currently, these are a few of the paid services we provide to flight schools and aviation professionals:
- Assistance in diagnosing English language proficiency issues
- Assistance in program building, tutoring support, or admissions filtering
- Complete Aviation English curriculum and training for your instructors
- Online Aviation English instruction conducted as live/real-time and/or self-study courses
- Textbooks for Aviation English Instruction
- Benchmark testing for your internal use to pre-screen candidates
Our best FREE service is our Working with International Students Workshop. In this workshop, your flight instructors, administrative staff, and admissions team are invited to learn about how student present themselves at the various English Proficiency levels. Participants learn questioning and teaching techniques to use with the students to maximize performance and quickly identify language gaps so that they can be addressed PRIOR to becoming an issue.
Also, if you’ve not already subscribed to our flight instructor newsletter, you may do so here or by viewing our flight schools page here.
We’ll be offering this workshop as a free “Lunch and Learn” on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 12-1. Please RSVP by filling out the form on this page. We're sorry. This webinar has already taken place. However, you may contact us to learn more.
